Central Mass Women’s Conference: Personal Brand Panel

Vision's communications manager, Catrina Gardner, poses in front of a sign showing her panel information on personal brand at the She's Local Central Mass Conference for Women.

Members of the Vision Advertising team were thrilled to attend the second annual She’s Local: Central Massachusetts Conference for Women earlier this month. Though the day was jam-packed with inspiring keynote speakers, networking opportunities with 300 other local women, and resourceful workshops, the highlight for our staff was getting to see Vision’s Communications Manager, Catrina Gardner, present as part of a panel of industry professionals on the power of your personal brand. Read on for an overview of the discussion as well as more resources to help you tell your story.

How to Tell Your Story: Ways Your Personal Brand Can Propel You Forward

Alongside the CEO of GEM Marketing Solutions, Jennifer Hernandez; as well as the owner, brand photographer, and brand videographer at Teresa Hnat Studio, Teresa Hnat; Vision’s own Catrina Gardner presented two back-to-back sessions the morning of the conference to a room full of about 50 to 60 professional women from the Central Mass region. Although conference attendees represented a wide range of industries, it’s safe to say that the one thing every profession and every business has in common is the need for a unique brand of their own.

With that in mind, event planners, marketing managers, budding entrepreneurs, real estate agents, life coaches, and dozens of other women showed up to this interactive workshop, “How to Tell Your Story: Ways Your Personal Brand Can Propel You Forward,” to hear how other professionals have built brands that have set them apart from the rest. All three panelists shared their experiences navigating their own journey of learning to show up to the world authentically. Session attendees walked away knowing:

  • How to identify their own unique qualities and experiences that create the bedrock of their personal brand.
  • How to craft a compelling narrative that tells their own story in a way that is authentic, relatable, and impactful to others.
  • How to build connections with others through their personal brand, and how to leverage those connections to achieve personal and professional growth.
