Erin Abrams is the Business Development Manager at Vision. Erin is responsible for establishing business relationships and discovering the needs of our clients. Her talents begin with listening to our client’s mission and goals and then crafts a strategy and brings it to fruition.
Erin’s advertising career began in the pre-web revolution back in the late 1990’s in print advertising. After completing a web development certification from Clark University, Erin was recruited by a progressive internet start-up that offered artistic websites and sophisticated back-end management in the age of single-static HTML pages. Erin had the opportunity to work on projects for Fortune 500 companies both in Boston and Silicon Valley at the start of the web revolution as a web developer and project manager.
Before joining Vision, Erin successfully ran her own advertising company for more than two decades where she focused on business development through marketing and advertising. Erin doesn’t see it as business development but often refers to it as “building community” for her clients. Building community comes to her naturally; but also, through understanding full-circle marketing and positioning clients as industry leaders and educators. Erin has been at the forefront of modern marketing practices providing solutions and creating marketing strategies to deliver outstanding customer vision. From working across multiple industries and size businesses, Erin has found success because building communities is always at the heart of her motivation for her clients.
Erin has done every job in a marketing department from web development, creating vector art and info-graphics, SEO management, print, logo creation, event coordination, project management, branding, quality blogging, email content, and more. Erin can look at a broad scope of options and advise our clients on best practices that are going to make them successful.
Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in business development from Worcester State University, in addition to several certifications in yoga, meditation, and wellness. In the past, Erin has been invited to speak at conferences on wellness and held trainings on successful marketing tools for small businesses.
When Erin is not working, you will find her doing anything active from a hot yoga or spinning class to hiking and kayaking. Her greatest joys are her two boys and often will be on the tennis courts getting her humble pie being served up across the court by them.
