Today we’re looking at Catrina Gardner, our Social Media Specialist. Instead of talking about them, let’s let them talk for themselves in this short Q&A interview.

Why Did You Decide to Make the Jump to Social Media Marketing with Vision?

I have always loved social media, starting way back with Myspace. As the need for businesses to have a social media presence became apparent, I’ve jumped on opportunities at previous roles to build a social media presence. I started to become fascinated with the algorithms that Facebook and Instagram use and I love to try and figure out how to beat it! I decided I really wanted to pursue social media and marketing as a full-time career and when I saw the opportunity at Vision Advertising, I jumped at it.

Besides Social Media, What Other Skills Do You Bring to the Table?

I have a degree in graphic design and have previously worked as a graphic designer for product, packaging, and layout design. I also spent years as a freelance event photographer and product photographer. I love incorporating design and great quality photo/video into social media to really establish and maintain a company’s brand!

What Should Clients Know About Working with You?

I am a quick text message away for anything you need! I am constantly working from my phone, whether it’s posting an awesome video from your most recent event to researching what the most popular meme of next week is going to be.

I’m a crafty person, so for the last year, I have been making wall décor with embroidery hoops. I love participating in craft fairs local to the Worcester, MA region. It’s a great way to meet new people and build a community of like-minded crafty cat ladies. I call my business Coulson & May, and you can check out my work HERE.
