Now here’s what you came for…
Well, first of all, let me tell you that its life changing. Now let me tell you why.
Several years back, when I was just starting to get this company off the ground, I had a conversation with one of my first clients. She is an amazing and well accomplished investor who cannot be described as anything but a “shooting star.” Wanting a taste of that success (and being an entrepreneurial beginner), I asked her for some advice about what I could do to get where she was and beyond. She replied with only five words: “read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad.’”
I went out and picked up a copy and began to read immediately. What I found was astounding. The book went into detail talking about how money works and the attitudes and ideas of surrounding the idea of making it work for you instead. It talked about WHY people make the choices they make and the differences between employees and entrepreneurs, between assets and liabilities, and expenses and investments. It talked about passive income, the point of assets, and how to get out of the proverbial “rat race.” I found myself in an uncomfortable position, but one of excitement. I knew I fit into the “poor dad” category and that made me almost embarrassed because I was trying to reach my goals all wrong and would most likely never reach them… all the while thinking I “knew it all” and I had the answers. On the other hand, I was elated because I felt empowered with the key foundational knowledge I sought.
My attitudes about money, financial education, investing, and financial freedom were promptly corrected, enhanced, and renewed. In my view, it is THE system one needs to achieve financial freedom. But its more than just that book series, or the other tools… the key is USING the knowledge and seeking out more. You only become what you actively work to become.
In February of 2005, I was perusing the Rich Dad site (www.richdad.com) and I saw a link for the Learning Annex’s Real Estate Wealth Expo (giant seminar series) to be held in NYC, with guess who for a keynote… Robert Kiyosaki! Well since most people pay thousands to sit in front of him, and I had a chance to do the same for only a few hundred bucks, you bet I went! I camped out early and parked myself directly in the front row, almost center. The presentation he gave further cemented my faith in his teachings and system, and it was amazing. It all made so much sense, backed up his books’ teachings, and was completely logical. I wanted to learn more and get on the learning “fast track.”
Immediately after, I hurried with my book to the line where he was signing books after his seminar. When it was my turn, I went over to him and he warmly extended his hand with a big smile.
“I am so happy to meet you; I never had a hero until I read your books, but now I do. Everything in there is gold and you are 100% right about all of it! You’ve really helped to change my life for the better and I can’t thank you enough.” I told him. So maybe I gushed a little. Its not every day that you meet your hero! That earned me a huge smile and a big hug.

I believe I floated back to my seat in the keynote lecture hall… I was changed. Newly motivated and even hungrier for that success I dreamed of years ago. This was the precise moment I knew for certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this was the time to kick it all into high gear and make it happen more aggressively than I ever had before.
Since then, my motivation (and my husband’s) is at an all time high, our eyes are open to seeing more opportunities than we saw before, and we’re not afraid anymore to go after them. These are the changes we both wanted and needed… and there’s more to come.
Vision Advertising is my pride and joy. I have worked my butt off to make this business a success and I love my clients. It is a privilege to work with the people I do, and it fills me with immeasurable pride to be able to aide in someone else’s success. The next step is to achieve financial freedom through my personal holdings and assets so I can manage this company 100% because I want to, and not one iota because I have to. Remember, I started this company because I love this line of work, and I want it to stay that way.
I hope my candid approach will help you to take that first step in the right direction and check out his book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad.” It was the beginning of the end (of the rat race) for me.
Thanks so much for reading,

This is not a paid endorsement. This was written because I wish to share this educational goldmine with everyone I can, firmly believing it is THE system to acheiving your dreams/goals.
