Laura DiBenedetto, President & CEO
Vision Advertising was founded in 1999 in response to the overwhelming marketing needs of business owners that Laura DiBenedetto, founder, saw every day. She saw the need for companies (large and small) to have a partner who could be a trusted resource, who would fulfill promises made, and most importantly, and be invested in their success. Recognizing the incredible opportunities available through internet marketing, she was the among the first to develop a business model around inbound marketing, and was the first to leverage social media as a marketing tool to provide commercial opportunity in the greater New England area. She’s always been defined as passionate no matter where you find her: with her company, her team, and her clients, encouraging all to aim high, deliver results, and fulfill dreams.
Laura has been recognized in her community as well. Awards include being listed as one of the Top 10 Women in PR, 40 under Forty (at age 23), as well as being cited by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for her accomplishments. She has also received two Torch Awards from the Better Business Bureau for market place ethics. She has enjoyed appearing on Fox News as a featured guest multiple times, and has also appeared on Chronicle and other New England regional programming. Laura is a powerful voice and thought leader in the marketing industry of the region and is a sought after public speaker, speaking at various colleges in the area, including Framingham State, Nichols and Becker College. She has also been a speaker at various esteemed business groups including the National Restaurant Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Center for Women & Enterprise, to name a few. She has also spoken for the Worcester Regional Chamber, BNI, and so on. She has also poured hundreds of hours into training and advising other business owners, because she feels educating people on the importance of media and inbound marketing is critical to success in the continually evolving market landscape.
Empowering people to rise and grow through hard work, education, and opportunity is one of the core values Laura holds. She is passionate about creating jobs, coaching, and helping others, living out her philosophy of “lift as you climb.” She has personally coached several interns from their raw beginnings to the point where they went on to earn impressive positions at other successful companies.
Laura has also been heavily involved in her community from the beginning. Beyond the over 700 companies she has helped since the start of the business, she has helped literally hundreds of animals through her volunteer work as an animal rights advocate with the Worcester Animal Rescue League. She has also helped to empower women and has a heart for women’s issues, particularly those who have suffered abuse. Beyond these two causes that are closest to her heart, she has spent significant time working with various other charities, wellness groups and individuals in need.
On the personal side, Laura is a passionate family person, world traveler/explorer with a deep appreciation for nature and animals. Her creative pursuits include a life-long passion for fine art (having won several awards for her oil paintings), nature photography, culinary arts, and crafting fine French Pastry and specialty confections.
Julia Becker Collins, Vice President of Marketing & Operations
Julia has more than 12 years of experience in marketing, event planning, and fundraising in the corporate and nonproft world, including strategy and implementation of inbound and outbound marketing, national trade shows, public speaking, social-media management, direct marketing, Salesforce administration, and website creation. Prior to joining Vision Advertising, Julia was the Director of Marketing at Boston Color Graphics, a full-service marketing firm that specializes in fundraising marketing solutions for nonprofits across the U.S. Previously, she worked with notable nonprofits in the Boston area where she focused on communications strategy and implementation, public relations, fundraising events, capital campaigns, major gifts, and restructuring departmental systems. She has an MPA from Framingham State University and a BA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She was awarded the Distinguished Alum Award by the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Women, Gender, and Sexuality Department in May 2016.
Julia is also the Co-Founder and President of the MetroWest Women’s Network, a group of local ambitious women that work together to meet their goals. Started in May 2016, they have grown to more than 550 members. The Network is comprised of an active online community and monthly offline events that support local women-owned businesses, and offers networking opportunities for women at all stages of their careers. She leads a leadership team of 5 members and crafts vision for the company, along with providing oversight of all implementation.
When she’s not leading Vision Advertising’s marketing operations team, she can be found taking a spin, barre, or yoga class, running, listening to one of the many podcasts in her queue (such as current favorite Reply All), volunteering with one of her alma maters, or spending time with family.
Tammy Lajoie, Designer & Developer
Tammy has been a long-time member of Team Vision, working as the resident designer and website developer. Her experiences over the last couple decades– from painting fine detail in oils and leading small teams, to the commercial print industry where she worked for 15 years managing the Design & Prepress department and personally working with clients on a daily basis–bring her years of fast-paced deadline-driven practices and attention to detail to the forefront at Vision Advertising. The grey streak? Worn with pride, it’s her badge of honor representing motherhood, marriage, life, and good ol’ DNA (all of which I love and none of which I would change)!

Alex Geyer, Internet Marketing Specialist
Alex wears many hats, and not just because he’s bald. A writer by his background, Alex writes “social media content” for Vision – anything from social media statuses to blogs to whitepapers and beyond. In addition, he builds and maintains all search engine advertising for Vision’s clients, along with social media advertising for others. In his free time, he starts and stops writing novels, compiles tabletop roleplaying system conversions, and cooks a mean Chicken and Dumplings avec Peas. A videogame enthusiast, he is also developing his first video game with the startup game studio, Pretty Weird. He is terrible with plants*.
Veronica Van Jura, Social Media Specialist
Veronica is an Emmanuel College alum (Boston, MA) where she studied Art Therapy and Studio Art. Her creativity plays a strong part in her day-to-day here at Vision Advertising. Having worked in non-profits, her compassion for helping others succeed in their businesses is top priority.
Veronica spends her day developing creative branding, social media content, and constructing new ideas for clients’ needs in the community. While she is creating Facebook content, and learning more about photography, Bruce Springsteen plays through her headphones as the daily soundtrack (as a New Jersey native, she is a huge fan!).
In her downtime, she can be found running around the streets of Worcester (Woo! Half marathons!) or painting in the studio of her apartment.
Erica Ferretti, Inbound Marketing Specialist
Erica spent her early years moving around the United States. A Massachusetts native, she trekked off to Montana, California, and finally deciding to return to her hometown of Millbury. She is a Nichols College alum where she studied Business Administration and Marketing. She proceeded to work for a prominent Engineering company along with a fast-paced General Contracting business in the MetroWest area. Erica is eager to continue her career at Vision by writing Nobel prize-worthy blogs and news-shattering press releases for their clientele.
When Erica isn’t working out at the gym, she loves spending time outdoors – kayaking, four-wheeling, fishing, skating, hiking. She also considers herself to be a foodie. If she’s not preparing it, she’s eating or drinking it, or trying to find where the best Seafood Fra Diavolo dish is. Lucky for her, her family owned a restaurant where she had ready access to Italian fare any time she wanted.
